Jay Lethal has expressed interest in recruiting Black Machismo to AEW.
Lethal originated the part during his time with TNA and has continued to play it ever since. However, “Black Machismo” has not yet debuted in AEW.
Prior to the record-breaking AEW All In show, Lethal had a conversation with Muscleman Malcolm.

I would hate for it to seem like I was poking fun of ‘Macho Man.’ Two, I aspire to compete like a genuine wrestler. When I asked him about it, he said, “Well, once you get over all that, you’ll have fun in this business.” After we talked for a bit, I was able to overcome my fear of appearing foolish thanks to his advice. Since we’re all mature guys acting like boys in our underpants, this shouldn’t be too difficult.
